From is a gripping mystery-horror series set in a seemingly ordinary small town that conceals a terrifying secret: anyone who enters becomes trapped, unable to leave no matter which road they take.
The story follows the Matthews family, whose cross-country trip takes a horrifying turn when they arrive in the isolated town. They soon discover they are not alone. Dozens of residents are already stranded there, all desperately searching for a way home while struggling to survive against mysterious supernatural forces.
As night falls, the town becomes even more dangerous. Human-like creatures emerge from the surrounding forest, appearing friendly and harmless before revealing their true monstrous nature. Protected only by strange talismans that keep the creatures at bay, the residents must follow strict rules to survive until morning.
Leading the community is Boyd Stevens, a former military veteran who serves as the town's reluctant sheriff and protector. While attempting to maintain order, Boyd and the other residents begin uncovering disturbing clues hidden throughout the forest, abandoned structures, and the town's mysterious past.
Combining psychological horror, survival drama, and intricate mystery-box storytelling, Season 1 gradually expands its mythology while raising unsettling questions about where the town came from, why its residents are trapped, and what truly controls the nightmare surrounding them.
