Overview

O' Romeo is a romantic action thriller set in post-independence Mumbai’s underworld. The film blends Shakespearean inspiration with gangland drama, exploring love, revenge, and loyalty amid crime syndicates.

The story follows Afsha (Triptii Dimri), whose lover is killed by rival gangsters. Seeking revenge, she turns to Ustara (Shahid Kapoor), pulling him into a violent web of betrayal and devotion. As rival factions clash, romance and vengeance collide in Bhardwaj’s stylized adaptation.

The film is loosely inspired by Romeo and Juliet, continuing Vishal Bhardwaj’s tradition of Shakespearean reinterpretations in Indian settings.
